下條ユリさんのインスタグラム写真 - (下條ユリInstagram)「My rambling thoughts while the world is burning… いま、世界が燃えている。大切な人を失い悲しみに打ちひしがれている友だちがいる。あまりにも平和な時間が流れているここでは、それが想像がつかない。わたしは感謝することを忘れ、自分の無力さに苛立ちさえ感じる。人々は国や宗教という名の下で引き裂かれている。それぞれの側で絶望を経験している。私たちはみんな、許容量のなか最大限に感じている。私は再び思い、祈り、そして夢見る。もし、人間に「共感」という感情があって、それがそれぞれに立場は違えど一緒に「希望」という感覚を共有することができるのなら… それが、いま、この２点の絵を、この雅代ちゃんのFarmoonという宇宙で見せることの意味になると思っています。とりとめのない思いを綴りました。 Here in Kyoto, on a peaceful afternoon we are able to hold peace. Instead of embracing the appreciation, sometimes I feel frustrated by the powerlessness. People are divided. Both experience despair on each side. We all feel to the max. I contemplate again, and pray, and dream. If people could feel our collective empathy for humanity, to share a sense of hope together, that’s my ultimate contribution to this show.
