A mystifying relic of olde meets new with carved wishes hidden beneath folklore spines beckoning dreams to be penned with rivers of ink in earthen pages, found its way to my home and hands, soon to be met with my heart and pen. Meet the Ajrak River Earth Journal handmade with love and ancestral homage by @lotusblubookart. The unboxing alone is a ritual to be savored, a rite of passage if you will, a gift and extravagant procession in and of itself, and I hope to have captured a glimpse of this most special homecoming. The Ajrak River Earth shall be the keeper of dreams, whether hopeful or outlandish, feasible or far out of reach. It need not matter the outcome so long as there is an open field where my heart can sing its song in wishes that roam free as wildflowers. Somehow, someway the Ajrak River will carry them to Earth.
