Thank you for sitting with me in this space each day and reminding me why I so enjoy connecting here and being part of a creative and nurturing community. I love when individuals introduce themselves here, and being able to put a face with the name, so I thought I’d do that today. It’s nice to remember that there is a living and breathing soul behind the screen with hopes & dreams, heartaches & disappointments, growth & change and all the aspects that make us human. . So a few random fun facts: . I have been journaling since I first learned how to write. It has been my favorite form of self-care/love/indulgence my entire life. When I open my journal, I feel a world of wonder awaiting me within its blank pages ready for thoughts, musings and stories to be penned. . I am a mama and I cherish this role that I’m extremely privileged to live. To be able to get to know and learn and be trusted with the heart of a miracle child is the greatest honor. And being entrusted to guide and steward is the most humbling one. . I once was an avid field hockey player for seven years until one fateful evening when I tore my ACL rather heartily and that was that. . I am Asian American, specifically mixed South Korean. I have been to South Korea twice for several month long durations each time. My mom, who was born in Seoul, is one of the most incredible, intelligent, beautiful, graceful, resilient, spunk-filled, open-minded, cycle-breaking, hilarious and wise souls of any I’ve known. . I am extremely private, not an open book outside of my inner circle, and I like to take my time when getting to know other souls. Autonomy, boundaries, authenticity and a lifestyle of healthy growth are my love languages. And laughing too. And folklore and good stories. :) . And that’s a wrap! What about you?
