The class was using the hoops to encourage the students to stay an appropriate distance away from one another for their graduation ceremony. With just 16 days left in their school year, Willow Creek School in Willow Creek, Montana, was one of the first in the country to reopen to students. Because Willow Creek is a small, rural community with no reported cases of COVID-19 in the area, the school board felt comfortable allowing them to reinstate in-person instruction. Numerous safety protocols, temperature checks, social distancing measures and masks on faculty and staff were in place.
