No doubt she is my daughter :P The first 3 days were all about making sure she had good lungs development and was heading in the right direction. We were all following closely her Oxygen saturation, her heartbeat and her respiration rate. Lots of X-ray and tubes going into her mouth, stomach and nose. Her breathing is progressing really well obviously including some scary moments but that seems be the norm at the NICU. On day 3 her heart started to have some dip and pretty sure me and Dave got 100 heart attack but they found the problem and she is doing so much better now. Overall she is doing as good and developing as good as the doctor could hope for. Lots of hurdles left ahead of us but we know we are in good hands. Both me and Dave got to hold her and I can not describe the amount of love we both have for her. I caught Dave singing her little song and my heart melted. She is SO LOVE. Also my milk came in and that’s a whole other story hahaha. But it’s going to help Zoe have everything she need nutrients and food wise. I wanted to take a second to thank everyone who is praying for us, who reached out to support us and are thinking of us in any way. Me and Dave are overwhelmed with the love and support we received and its been helping us so much through our current situation. We’ve been finding ourselves going down a dark path once in a while and we’ll receive a message that brings us back out quickly. Please keep reaching out, keep praying for our little girl. It is helping us stay positive, heal and feel love. We are so grateful and overwhelmed by the support and it is definitely changing our fear into love and gratitude.
