今日の和菓子 : 陽だまり／Sunny Spot

立春が過ぎたとは言え、まだまだ寒さが厳しい二月は、春が恋しい季節。少しでも春らしい陽気味わっていただければと、先日行われた寺田美術さんの茶話会にてお作りした、お日様の光を宿したリンゴ味の琥珀菓子です。

Although the beginning of spring (Risshun) has already begun, according to the traditionalJapanese calendar, we still have cold days in February. The coldness of the breeze still lingers in every corner of the city. This confectionery visualizing a sunny spot captures the warm sunshine in the early spring.
