Kristen is a professional dog musher, park ranger, published author, and mother of two. She runs Hey Moose! Kennel, a competitive sled-dog racing kennel, together with her husband Andy Pace in Healy, Alaska. The pair have completed numerous 1,000 mile-sled races across the Alaskan and Canadian wilderness, considered to be some of the toughest endurance competitions in the world. I first met Kristen in the summer of 2014, and we have been friends ever since.
