To ensure that we are part of the solution, we have adopted environmental principles in everything that we do and we are working towards a sustainable future. Wasting finite resources not only requires the mining or harvesting of additional resources, but can also generate air, land and water pollution and poses a threat to wildlife and people when not disposed of correctly. Here at Taronga our waste management is in action 7 days a week, 365 days a year. This year we diverted 90% of our waste away from landfill and we have almost 20 separate waste streams in action.
