A very important meeting is currently happening in Geneva, Switzerland to help tackle the illegal wildlife trade of endangered wildlife. Taronga’s CEO, Cameron Kerr and Director of Welfare, Conservation and Science, Nick Boyle are attending as advisors to the Australian Government delegation for the Convention of International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES). Most of you would have heard about illegal wildlife trade, and the story was probably about the impact on iconic animals such as elephants, rhinos and tigers.
