juliesygiel I ❤️ this story so much. I grew up skating and I think I got it from my grandmother as legend has it she was queen of the rink in her day. A few years ago I purchased a pair of vintage skates on eBay and use them to skate around nyc. More recently I discovered @lola_star’s @dreamlandroller disco on Friday nights. There’s nothing like the feeling of skating with the wind flowing through your hair and the music. Agree that when you have a skating partner, it’s pure magic. ✨
