Weighing the most I’ve ever weighed in my life currently and I ain’t even mad about it 😏💁♀️
.
I posted this on insta stories... but I really wanted to share this message. That you can be confident even in the midst of weight gain. You can be confident at ANY size and I strongly believe that. Do I still believe it’s incredibly important to take care of your physical health through exercise and a proper diet. Yes, 100%. But if you’re on your fitness journey, heck, even if you haven’t started your fitness journey, every single person on this earth deserves to love and appreciate their body. Self-hate has no place in this world. And that's why mental and emotional health is just as important in this journey as your physical health.
.
So whether you’ve lost 50 lbs and are still working on that last 10, or you’re just now trying to start a fitness journey... or maybe you reached your fitness goal and you’re just maintaining, OR maybe you never wanted to lose weight to begin with... SHAKE WHAT YA MAMA GAVE YA!! 💃🙌🤩 #realtalk #fbggirls #fbgcommunity www.annavictoria.com/fitbodyapp

All women need a healthy amount of body fat at least 17-18%...I think lifting 5x a week is overtraining and only taking one rest day a week is not enough. I currently lift 4x a week and cardio one day a week and two rest days and my lifts are getting stronger..I don’t track macros I think tracking macros is negative for people with low body image and anorexia issues..lots of women these days over train and let their body fat get too low to where it causes infertility issues and may lead to osteoporosis...I believe everything in moderation..eat and drink what you enjoy in moderation and exercise in moderation too to live a long healthy life. I used to track and over train 6 days a week and I lost my period and my body fat was 15% which is too long long term and my doctor said it could lead to long term reproductive issues and osteoporosis plus it’s bad for women’s hormones. People don’t realize that over exercising and being too lean is also very unhealthy and a lot of fitness models perpetuate that

I was literally just thinking dang she always looks incredible but this is the best I’ve ever seen her!!! I know not the point, but just had to say lovin’ it. Not about me or anyone else’s opinion though and I get that too, but it never hurts to receive a compliment right 😘 plus the emotional baggage that comes with all the things you’ve been through is really what I’m seeing between the lines here. Life is hard, but we will get to where we are meant to be in His timing... & it’ll all make sense why we had to go through what we did along the way. Prayers, hugs, & love your way❤️

Thank you @annavictoria ❤️ I just started IVF stims yesterday and am already bloated, which is compounding the 10 lbs I've gained leading up to this from birth control and generally eating terribly. I guess stress is at play but I'm committing to myself today to make better choices from here on out, not because I'm mad at my heavier body right now but because I want to love on it and help it feel it's best ❤️ thank you for always being so positive and open. You are such an inspiration and I'm so excited to be on this journey with you!

I can understand the uneasy feeling about gaining weight even when you are still very thin. Because uneasyness and worry about our body is an almost universal feeling for women, whatever our size. You are describing your journey, the way you are compelled to accept another body and your fragility, the way it changes you and makes you think about acceptance of what you can not control and what you try to control nevertheless. It can resonate for a lot of us whatever our size. Because all women are sisters in this fight.

@nicholaprzystanski I don’t think I’m chubby or overweight, no where in my caption did I say that :) all I’m saying is I’ve gained a bit of weight and I’m unbothered by it. Since I get countless DMs from girls who are terrified of gaining even half a pound, I wanted to share this and my feelings around it. I don’t believe how much you weigh or whether you’ve gained or lost weight should determine your self worth, and that’s the only message I hope to convey here ❤️

@annavictoria you are beautiful and incredible and should not have to deal with all this negativity! You are simply speaking YOUR truth. I don’t know you but reading some of these comments drives me nuts! You are a good person with a good heart. I hope you never take these comments to heart. People need to get a life and stop being so negative!!! Sorry just couldn’t sit back and not stand up for you.
