This is my moms sister and she’s been like a 2nd mother to Elaine and I. Things that were too difficult to talk to my mom about I would talk to her. She literally drove from Brentwood Long island to the Bronx or wherever I was to witness every performance. She made sure we had family traditions like going Apple Picking in September, getting me my Holiday Barbies every Christmas, and road trips to Lancaster/Amish country to watch Christian shows and eat. Yes that was my childhood. Great moments like that I’ll never forget! But not all memories are meant to be cherished. I’ll also never forget us seeing my mother in her casket together for the first time. Taking a step outside of my body to seeing my Titi loose her sister/best friend....my heart hurts just thinking about it. The pain was and still is unbearable. Our lives will never be the same. A lot of loss this year but I still have much to be grateful for. My Titi Lorraine is definitely a reason to think more positive, to love and live more. Thank your for being my inspiration of what a strong woman is. I love my fluffing pillow Titi. Ps. When we were young she made something up called “The No Fun Hour” She would make us watch her clean while she listened to any music she liked...from Luciano Pavarotti to Patsy Cline. Another reason why my taste of music was always different.
