We are preparing our #NewYork galleries for the unveiling of Treasures from Chatsworth – a rare, public exhibition of works from the fabled Devonshire Collection of @chatsworthofficial located in Derbyshire, England. Here is a behind the scenes look as the Chatsworth team readies ‘A Veiled Vestal Virgin’ by #RaffaelleMonti for its journey across the Atlantic. A centerpiece of the collection’s sculpture gallery, the marble bust of an Ancient Roman priestess was commissioned by the 6th Duke of Devonshire in 1846 and made an appearance in the 2005 film 'Pride and Prejudice', starring Kiera Knightly and Matthew Macfadyen.
