#ExhibitionForNotreDame: Marc Newson has donated his work, "Carbon Fibre Chair" (2008), to "An Exhibition for Notre-Dame," on view at Gagosian, Paris, through July 27.

@marcnewsonofficial approaches design as an experimental exercise in extreme structure and advanced technologies, combined with a highly tactile and exacting exploration of materials, processes, and skills. Conceived and meticulously crafted in a seamless piece of carbon fiber, "Carbon Fibre Chair," explores an existing model in terms of a radically different material.
