#ArtBasel: "HEX” (2019), a new watercolor by Ellen Gallagher, is featured in our booth, C9, at Art Basel.

In this new work, Gallagher continues her engagement with the ocean, its histories, and its mythologies, all central themes in her ongoing “Watery Ecstatic” series. The background of “HEX” is a marine blue and the texture of the work is encrusted with crushed mica amid ink and magazine cuttings.
