On summery days like this, I’ve only got ice 👀 for a Filipino dessert like halo-halo. ☀️One of the better versions I’ve had is served at @maxsfriedchicken . Crushed ice, milk, tropical fruit preserves, sweet beans, flan, purple yam ube ice cream and rice flakes. So refreshing!

antoniette714 @melissasuewong haha yeah I saw! They have a location in Chula and will be opening one up in Mira Mesa apparently. First time I had it was in Calgary of all places lol. But this dessert I thought was done well...and I’m pretty picky!
