平井卓也さんのインスタグラム写真 - (平井卓也Instagram)「ワシントンDC到着後、大使公邸にて「AI and Governments」を米国関係者とともに開催。私のほか、柴山文部科学大臣、杉山大使、クレイチオス大統領副補佐官ら、約100人が出席。私からは、日本の「人間中心のAI社会原則」の内容や、現在検討中のAI国家戦略についてスピーチ。日本は何故、AI社会原則の策定を先行し、AI教育改革に重点を置くのか、日本の考え方を説明しました。AIの国際的なルール作りに関し、G20に向けて米国とも連携していきたい、と思います。「令和」の時代の幕開けに相応しい素晴らしいイベントになりました。ありがとうございました！ After arriving at Washington DC, in the Ambassador's residence the "AI and Governments" salon was held with about 100 attendees from Japan and US including Minister Shibayama of MEXT, Ambassador Sugiyama, Mr. Kratsios of Deputy Assistant to the US President, and me. It was honor for me to have a speech about "Human-centric AI Ethics/Principle" and Japan's AI strategy which is now under consideration. Japan will continue to work in close cooperation with US on this matter toward G20 in Osaka.
