I had the pleasure of participating in the traditional mochi-making event at Kitahama Alley. This area, a chic and popular spot with restaurants and cafes, is a retro warehouse district near Takamatsu Port, overlooking the Seto Inland Sea. Today, I joined forces with Governor Ikeda and Mayor Onishi to finish the first mortar. With an expected significant increase in visitors, including inbound, post-2025, further development of this area is essential. Just like in mochi-making, we’ll collaborate for regional growth.
