Tesla shares dropped sharply after CEO Elon Musk announced that CFO Deepak Ahuja is leaving the company — for the second time.

Ahuja is retiring after almost 11 years at the automaker. He first left the company in 2015, but returned in 2017 to replace then-CFO Jason Wheeler, who had suddenly resigned.

Musk announced Ahuja’s retirement at the end of a conference call with analysts discussing the company’s fourth quarter earnings.

Tesla reported its second consecutive quarterly profit Wednesday, and better-than-expected sales, but its fourth-quarter earnings fell short of expectations.
