Some truck drivers, and other passing people with space on their vehicles, offer rides to the caravan of migrants, allowing them to advance at a faster pace than walking. This is a very dangerous form of transportation, and migrants have been spotted sitting on the roofs of truck cabins, crouching in between the axis of trailer trucks, or holding on to any surface that allows them to ride rather than walk.
