In autumn, yellow and red tints of broad-leaved trees spread over the base of the mountains, making a beautiful contrast with the blue surface of Lake Onneto. On this photo, you see Mt. Meakan on the left and Mt. Akanfuji on the right; the red colors around the timberline are the leaves of rowan trees.
There are walking trails around Lake Onneto, where you can enjoy a marvelous view of the lake and fall foliage in the tranquil autumn air.
