メルボルンでバリスタとして活動していたヴォーンさんは、日本に来て14年目。
現在はコーヒーエディターをメインに、日本最大規模を誇るコーヒーの祭典〝東京コーヒーフェスティバル〟のプロデューサーも務める。
そんなコーヒー業界の顔として知られる彼が、チョップコーヒーと出会ったのは1年前。
エディターとして活動するＷＥＢ媒体グッドコーヒーでの取材がきっかけだそう。
グッドコーヒーはオンラインのコーヒーガイドブックとして人気で、事務所の1Fには〝新しいコーヒー体験が出来るお店〟をコンセプトにした実店舗、ザ ローカルを構える。
チョップコーヒーとザ ローカルは近所なので、散歩がてらにコーヒーはしごも良いかも。

GOOD COFFEE THE LOCAL / Mr. Vaughan, who used to work as a barista in Melbourne, is now on his 14th year in Japan. He currently works mainly as a coffee editor, but also plays a role as a producer for one of the biggest coffee festival in Japan called “Tokyo Coffee Festival.” It was a year ago that he, who is known as “the face of coffee industry,” met CHOP COFFEE. He was interviewing for GOOD COFFEE’s online media, which he officiates as it’s editor. GOOD COFFEE is popular as an online coffee guide book, and also has a real cafe on the first floor of its office called “THE LOCAL.” The concept of this cafe is “A cafe where you can have new coffee experience.” Since CHOP COFFEE and THE LOCAL are located close to each other, how about going on café hopping while taking a nice walk around the area?
