「おそうざいと煎餅もんじゃ さとう」のオーナー・佐藤幸二さんのもんじゃ哲学は一貫している。
「変わった具材を入れるもんじゃを出すお店って思われがちなんですけど、ベースとなる具材はどれも一緒。
調和を崩さない食材を選んで入れてるんです」。レモンの入った「レモンじゃ」（¥1,200）やビーツの入った「ロシアもんじゃ」（¥1,600）など変わり種にも思えるもんじゃを口の中に入れると、新感覚の味わいの中に日本人に馴染み深い味が土台を支えているのがわかる。
店頭で量り売りされている惣菜もまた、体の奥底まで染み渡る滋味深いものばかり（離乳食まで売っている）。
予約必須の超人気店だが、まずは惣菜だけでも味わってみてほしい。

MONJA SATOH / Owner of “MONJA SATOH,” Mr. Koji Sato’s philosophy about Monja is logical. “People tend to think that my restaurant serves Monja with unique ingredients, but base ingredients are all same. I’m selecting the ingredients that won’t break the harmony.” Once you try “Lemonja” (¥1,200) which has lemon inside, or “Russia Monja” (¥1,600) with beets, you can understand the familiar flavor to the Japanese is supporting the base within the new sensation of flavor. Side dishes sold by weight is also exquisite. (They even sell baby food.) Although this is an extremely popular restaurant that requires reservation, for starters we want you to at least try their side dishes.
