原宿でゆっくり食事となると、意外と場所選びに苦労しない？ そんなとき贔屓にしたいのが、ラフォーレの交差点からほど近いビストロ「kiki harajuku」。オリジナルな食文化を追求すべく、近年はフルーツにフォーカス。日本の茶葉や調味料と合わせた斬新なアプローチで、感度の良い人たちの舌を唸らせている。写真の宮下さんは最近シェフに就任した期待のエース。フレンチの名店で研鑽を積んだオーナー野田さんの下で、kiki harajukuらしい味を追求すべく奮闘中だ。料理はコースのほかアラカルトでも注文でき、17時まではランチやカフェ利用も可能。手の込んだ料理を堪能できるのに、店のムードは至ってカジュアル。そんな心地よさも時代が求めるムードとぴたりと合っている。

KIKI HARAJUKU / Isn’t it quite hard to find a place to eat leisurely in Harajuku? In that case, you would want to make bistro “kiki harajuku” close to Laforet intersection your favorite. In recent years, they are focusing on fruits in pursuit of original food culture. Their innovative approach, combining Japanese tea leaf and seasonings, impresses even the people who are particular about food. Pictured is their anticipated newcomer who recently became chef, Mr. Miyashita. He is trying his best to pursue the original taste of kiki harajuku under the supervision of owner, Mr. Noda who studied at well-known French restaurant. Both course menu and a la carte can be ordered. In addition, the restaurant can be used as café and offers lunch menu till 17:00.
Even though the restaurant serves sophisticated foods, it still has a casual atmosphere. This comfortable atmosphere that kiki harajuku provides perfectly matches what the current times desire.
