アートは難しくない
まずは五感で楽しんで

ここはファッションデザイナーの野口アヤさんが昨年代官山にオープンしたギャラリー。静けさのなかにどこか穏やかな空気が満ちているのは、約90年現存する日本家屋によるところ。「作品を展示で気に入っても、家に持ち帰ると違和感を感じるのは空間のギャップによるものだと思う。それが少ない空間だと思います」と野口さん。ファッション、写真、イラストなど野口さんの目にとまった若き作家たちの作品群が展示されてきた。この日は色使いが鮮やかな一点物の陶器を手がける陶芸家・竹村良訓氏の一点物のアートピースを展示。開店から1年。「アートに縁遠い人にも身近なものとして捉えてもらえるよう5年、10年かけて進化させていきたい」と語る。

SISON GALLERY / This is a gallery opened last year in Daikanyama by the fashion designer, Aya Noguchi. Japanese style house standing almost 90 years provides quiet and calm atmosphere. Ms. Noguchi says “Even if you liked the art at the exhibition, you may feel something is not right once you take it home, and I think this is due to the difference in space. I think this space has less such difference.” This gallery has exhibited fashion, photography, and illustration works from young artists that caught Ms. Noguchi’s eyes. On the day of our visit, a ceramist Yoshinori Takemura’s one of a kind vivid colored potteries were displayed. It’s been a year since the gallery opened. She says “I want to continue evolving and by spending 5 or even 10 years to make arts something more closer to the people who has less connection with art.”
