Libby Belle “Our American Girl” Party photos!! .
We had such a great time introducing some of our local friends, volunteers, and supporters to Libby Belle. She fit perfectly in the arms of many and brought a smile to everyone’s face!! As many of you know, we rescued little Liberty Belle from our friends at Keepers of the Bond, a non-profit rescue based in Ohio. Libby was one of 5 in her litter and we welcomed this little girl into our Canid pack! Two of the baby foxes went to @wildspiritwolfsanctuary - an amazing sanctuary in New Mexico, and one went to a local sanctuary in Ohio. One very special girl, Abby, is staying with the folks at Keepers. .
Little Libby is a US captive bred fox and not one of our Russian domesticated foxes (Belyaev foxes). Although she isn’t a domesticated fox, she is starting to learn some Russian ??. We are hoping between her intense socialization and being raised with the Russian foxes, that she will be able to participate in our programs. It’s okay if she isn’t- we will still love her and she will always be a part of our pack!! .
