The farmhouse experience is Norway has so far been exhilarating. It's blissfully so unlike my usual environment and things I normally do. Cold, rainy weather in August, feeding and taking care of the (stubborn) goats, chicken, rabbits and horse, weeding the garden, harvesting fruit and vegetables and collecting fresh eggs. The only thing that is not new to me is cooking, with whatever I've got. Which is so satisfying. Time flies by during the day and before you know it's bed time. It doesn't seem so because it never gets dark before 11 PM, but your body knows because you feel exhausted.
My next challenge is to get up reeeaally early and watch the early sunrise, and get my own stuff done before the farm calls out. Hope your enjoying your summer.
