A lot can happen in 6 weeks... I DJ’d in a hat at Royal Ascot, ate all the pinxtos in San Sebastián, saw the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, played records and danced in a sweaty basement at London Pride, watched England get knocked out of the World Cup in an even sweatier london pub, DJ’d in Cannes and partied on a private island and in a castle, smashed a northern wedding, DJ’d Brooklyn rooftops and radio stations, tried liquid nitrogen Cheetos, watched Steps perform live, wrote some songs, DJ’d in a vampire castle in Romania, hogged the mic at karaoke with all my favourite people, drank too much wine with my mum, tried to teach my nephew to drive a toy car, bought too many books to fit in my suitcase, experienced one of the hottest London summers on record, shot a special project for Casio, rediscovered Tenori-on, did a photo shoot underwater, drank tequila shots to Andrew weatherall in a pub basement, ate a lot of potato waffles, missed three flights and now I’m heading to Vancouver to DJ tonight!
Life is funny, things don’t always turn out the way you expect... but I’m grateful for every turn in the road and all the wonderful people and places I’m lucky enough to share it with ?
