In "This Lemon Tastes of Apple," (2011) #HiwaK and guitarist Daroon Othman improvise a musical performance in a street demonstration against government corruption demonstration in Kurdish Sulaymaniya in 2011.
Because their performance was not planned, Hiwa K did not film it, but was able to gather footage from a cameraman who, several years later, was captured by ISIS militants.
