The day Amy Sherald heard she had been chosen to paint a portrait of First Lady @ミシェル・オバマ, she called her mom to tell her the news. Then she told her dog.
How do you go about painting a portrait of a First Lady? "You don't treat it like a portrait of the First Lady," @asherald said. "You kind of treat it as you would anything else, so that you can focus and stay inside of your body. I treated her like any other subject matter or model and approached it that way and it's a very thoughtful process."
