Relax; it's Friday. We're celebrating the birth of a male western lowland gorilla named Moke (which means “junior” or “little one” in the Lingala language) at @スミソニアン国立動物園.

His parents are 15-year-old mother Calaya and 26-year-old father Baraka. Animal care staff have observed Calaya nursing the infant, who has been clinging closely to mom, and they are optimistic that the newborn will thrive.
