The Philip Guston gallery in #TheLongRunMoMA features late career works made after Guston turned away from abstract painting in the late 1960s in favor of works that addressed current events. For #ArtSpeaks, Oliver Shultz, curatorial assistant at @MoMAPS1, invites visitors to take a closer look at Guston’s “Talking” (1979), viewing it as a snapshot of the artist’s philosophy on how paintings can capture and comment on history.
