Made mug-hanging kitty rusks for V-day!
So easy and so fast to whip this delightful treat , even for a last min surprise!
So... if you are having a headache on what to make; get your hands on some leftover bread, slathered on melted butter and sprinkled with caster sugar. Bake in oven with fan on (about 200C) for about 5-6 mins or until browned on the edges. You can also bake at lower temperature for a longer time if you prefer the homemade rusk to be drier. Especially if you intend to keep them for longer time instead of consuming it immediately.
You can play around with all sort of cutters and shapes. I decorated mine with melted chocolate. It takes you less than 30mins to do one batch~~ and very yummy too.
