The hat is from Mr John's 1954 ‘Festival of Spring and Summer’ Collection. ⠀

Mr John’s knowledge of art, history, literature, music and popular culture informed all aspects of his creative practice. The eccentric milliner gave individual names to his hats, possibly a source of inspiration to both clients and models.⠀
