MAAS pays tribute to Ron Muncaster, who passed away on 24 October, aged 81. Ron will be remembered for his spectacular Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade costumes and was awarded the Mardi Gras Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014. While Ron rarely expressed overt political messages his designs were created to build bridges between the queer and straight communities.
