The other day my science professor invited me to an event hosted by the Seibi Home, the largest children's home in Tokyo.

Making it my first time at a children's home, I was somewhat nervous.

The home was filled with laughter as everyone greets one another, and the
building its self was very heart warming. People around the world were attending the event.

There are many Japanese with morality, but as so in the US volunteering is a daily part of life for some people. Michael Jackson and Justin Bieber have also come to greet children at this home.

There are many children who are unfortunate, or have experienced things I could never imagine. But this home brings everyone together as a family, and watching these children help each other really made me think.

The Seibi Home has many volunteering events around the year, including the bazaar on Nov. 4. We hope many will lend a helping hand for the children.
Once I pass my exams and settle down, I hope to also become part of the volunteering.

Many children are in need!
