Named for its unique, tightly curled black feathers on the top of its head, the curl-crested aracari has one of the most colorful and interesting plumages of all toucan species. This species can be found high up in trees throughout the southwestern Amazon Basin, snacking on any kind of fruit they can get their beaks on.
