Coin #1: Ardashir I, Drachm Coin, Sasanian Persia, 224–242. His extensive beard reminds us of Gimli, son of Glóin, from the #LordOfTheRings movies.
Coin #2: Alexander Severus, Drachm Coin, Rome, 222–235, with a tightly-trimmed soldier's beard.
Coin #3: Humbart I, Tallero (5 Lire), Eritrea, 1896. We think this might be a walrus-style mustache.
