It's the tail end of the dry season here in Africa and it won't be long until this river is all but dried up, bringing with it a changed view of this scene and life for the surrounding wildlife and flora. The rainy season is a time where grazing animals fatten up and enjoy the additional lush hides, making it more difficult for ground predators to hunt. Gonarezhuo is a very large wildlife sanctuary, all part of the #GreatLimpoTransfrontierPark, a peace park that connects Gonarezhou to Kruger National Park in South Africa and Limpopo National park in Mozambique.
