This was the cover photo from that @ナショナルジオグラフィック story, Korea's Dangerous Divide - DMZ in 2003, and the caption back then would be the same if published today. "It's another day on high alert and another day of maneuvers for a camouflaged South Korean soldier near the DMZ."
