Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. speaks at the pulpit of Rankin Chapel at Howard University in December 1956. The end of the successful Montgomery Bus Boycott had been reached, bringing King national attention. DC's own Scurlock Studio documented several of King's visits to Howard University, including this event.
