#fightforchangeFriday is here and it's #turquoisetakeover week for @lungforce We are uniting and showing support to raise awareness for lung cancer. When my healthy non-smoking 79 year old grandma was diagnosed it was a shock to the whole family. We thought, like many, it could only happen to smokers. We were very wrong, it can happen to ANYONE. We also found out it's the NUMBER ONE cancer killer of women. Her battle was short and heartbreaking. The pain of her loss will never go away but I see this beautiful opportunity now. To speak out and use her story. Share her inspiration and strength for others. She lives on this way... Her spirit still felt. This is just my story. I know many of us have had our lives effected by cancer. So now it's time to #shareyourvoice and tell your story. Let's unite for change!!
