The amount of wildlife that fits in a single cubic foot just might blow your mind.
A new exhibition opening today at @smithsoniannmnh tracks the work of scientists and a photographer as they study what a cubic foot of land or water reveals about the diversity of life on the planet. “Life in One Cubic Foot” centers on a biocube—an actual 1-foot, green-framed cube that organisms can pass through.
