Photograph by @Thomas Peschak There are only a few places left in the Indian Ocean where you can witness scenes like this. Aldabra atoll has been protected from fishing for decades and large schools of Bohar snappers aggregate at the mouth of the channels that funnel water in and out of the lagoon. Split-level photographs are incredibly hard to do well. You need to find the right balance between the above-water and the underwater portion and make sure there is visual interest in both. In this case I find that the white clouds and the red fish balance each other out really well.
