Love football and #FoodHistory? Join us for The Great American Tailgate on Jan. 14 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
🏈🍺🌶 Tailgating is a great start to many a sporting event in America, but have you ever wondered how or why it all got started? We’re holding one epic night of tailgating fun right here in the museum to get to the bottom of America’s love for chili, sports, and beer in parking lots. Come along, get pumped for the Super Bowl, and explore the history of #tailgating!
The night will start out with a conversation with Dr. Tonya Bradford, Notre Dame Professor and tailgating researcher (yes, that is her real job) and other sports experts and open to an interactive tailgating-themed reception complete with games, food, beer, and original items and uniforms from the National Sports Collection.
