Happy birthday, Monopoly! The classic board game is 80. It was so successful that many other games tried to copy its design. Parker Brothers sued Milton Bradley in the 1930s for infringing on their Monopoly patent with the game Easy Money. The companies eventually settled the matter out of court. This version of the game, part of the museum’s Home and Community Life collection, debuted in the 1970s.
