Autumn and winter produce the best sunsets in central California compared with the rest of the year. With little fog and massive storms rolling in brining rough seas and parting skies, evenings could not be spent better, then along the rocky shores of the coast. A recent storm has brought a surge of powerful and ferocious waves giving the already dynamic open ocean, much more natural drama. As far as I see it, sunrises and sunsets are some of the best shows on earth as they happen everyday and are free!
