For the Mexican #DaysOfTheDead, the spirits of the dead are invited to the world of the living. At home and in cemeteries, the family and friends of these spirits make offerings of flowers, incense, food, drink and light.

This year the British Museum joined the celebration with a four-day festival of art, music, talks and performances. This spectacular projection on the facade of the Museum featured skulls, candles, butterflies, marigolds, and the traditional designs of Mexican papercuts.
