This is one of the first photos I took less than an hour into the country. I was sitting on the bus alone as we drove to the train station to gather the others. I was feeling pretty paranoid and timid during these two hours because I was behind foreign lines, no cell service, no internet, and in the hands of foreign minders who I had no previous contact with. Alas, everything went flawlessly... but landing in Pyongyang and adjusting to the utter surrealness is a bit of a trip in itself. #contrateur
