Cookout season is upon us and your Tupperware is being put to work. This is one of those everyday things in #ObjectProject that has a colorful backstory—much like these “wonder bowls” on display.
In this photo from our Archives Center at @国立アメリカ歴史博物館, Brownie Wise leads a Tupperware “home party” on the beach in Hawaii. Wise popularized the concept of hosting parties with friends to spread the word about Tupperware and boost sales. She eventually became vice president of the company.
